No purchase necessary. The Contest is only open to residents of Canada, 18 years of age and older, excluding residents of Quebec. Employees (and those with whom they are domiciled) of Rogers Communications Inc. ("Rogers") (the "Contest Sponsor") Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. ("MLSE") the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, governors, agents, advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible to enter.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter, go to www.raptors.com/spotlight, correctly answer all three (3) trivia questions, complete the entry ballot in full, and submit it as instructed before the Contest Closing Date.
PRIZES
There are nine (9) GRAND PRIZES available to be won, each consisting of a set of four (4) tickets to the Air Canada Centre
Rogers Gondola to watch the Toronto Raptors play Minnesota on Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 (the "Prize"). Each Grand Prize has an approximate retail value of $400 (food and non-alcoholic beverages included. Quantity and nature of food and beverage is at sole discretion of Contest Sponsor).
Due to the nature of the promotional prizing, no alternate date for the game is available. All incidental costs and expenses not specifically included above, including, without limitation, transportation, gratuities, taxes, souvenirs, food and beverages, items of a personal nature, are the sole responsibility of winner and his/her guests. In the event the winner and/or his/her guests cannot participate in any element of the Prize, for whatever reason, any unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited.
No financial compensation will be made when or if actual value of the prize is different from approximate retail value quoted in these rules. Prize winner and guests must follow all directions of Contest Sponsor and/or event organizers. Failure to do so may result in termination of their participation, or continued participation, in the Prize.
DRAW
(a) A random draw will be made at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Rogers offices at 333 Bloor Street East, 7th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4W 1G9 by a representative of the Contest Sponsor from among all entries received during the Contest Period. The Selected entrant will be contacted by telephone within twenty-four (24) hours following the draw by the telephone number provided on the Contest entry form.
(b) If a selected entrant cannot be reached within 48 hours, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, fails to produce the required travel documentation for the selected entrant and their guests, declines the Prize, or fails to return the executed release of liability forms as may be specified below, Contest Sponsor reserves the right to select another entrant or to cancel the Prize.
The Prize must be accepted as awarded and no prize substitutions of cash or otherwise or transfer of the Prize will be made, provided that the Contest Sponsor may make prize substitutions of equal or greater value.
To be declared a winner, a selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time and return signed release of liability and acknowledgment forms for the selected entrant and his/her guests (or their parents/legal guardians as applicable) as required, and within the time frame specified, by the Contest Sponsor. Winner’s guests cannot be changed after the liability and acknowledgment forms are received. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of Prize. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsor and/or their advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.
No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. The name of the winner will be posted online at http://www.hispeed.rogers.com/yahoo/perks/index.jsp or alternatively, send a postage-paid, self-addressed envelope on or before the Contest Closing Date to: "ROGERS GIVE US YOUR BEST SHOT" CONTEST, 333 Bloor Street East, 7th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4W 1G9 before the Contest Closing Date.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the draw prior to the Contest Closing Date. All entries that are incomplete, damaged, irregular, abusive, or have been submitted through illicit means, or using any method that artificially increases the odds of winning, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsor, without further notice, at their sole discretion. Contest Sponsor take no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.

No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Rogers with explicit permission to do. By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor, MLSE, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, owners, governors, agents, their advertising and promotional agencies, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the "Released Parties") from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the award of and participation in, the Prize. The winner acknowledges all risk of damages, injury or other loss incidental to any game for which tickets are issued, whether occurring before, during or after the game, and hereby voluntarily agrees to assume the same. The winner releases the Released Parties from any and all liability resulting from any incident related to participation in this Contest and/or the Grand Prize. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to refuse admission and/or to expel from the premises and/or participation in the Prize any person whose conduct is deemed in Contest Sponsor’s sole discretion to be objectionable. Expulsion cancels the Prize for the offending individual(s) and the individual(s) thereupon forfeit(s) all claims with respect to the Grand Prize. Participation in the Grand Prize is subject to compliance with all applicable laws, by-laws, regulations and any applicable facility or carrier rules; failure to comply may result in non-admission or expulsion from further participation in the Grand Prize.
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant and his/her proposed guests will be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release in favour of the Released Parties. By accepting a Prize, winner and guests consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses by Contest Sponsor for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.

This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by the Contest Sponsor. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the Contest. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for failure of the Internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.
The Contest Sponsor may terminate, modify, suspend or withdraw from this Contest (and/or any aspect thereof, including methods for selection of the Prize winners), in whole or in part, at any time without notice for any reason, without liability, at their sole discretion, including, without limitation the delay or cancellation of the National Basketball Association game for which the Prize is awarded. In the event a substitute prize is awarded, such prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise.
Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest, or any portion thereof, should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including, without limitation, criminal prosecution.
The Contest Sponsor shall not be responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or servers, computer software problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or at any website and assume no liability for damage to entrant’s or any person’s computer or mobile phone resulting from participating in the Contest.
If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof of being the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search.
Participants in the Contest acknowledge that MLSE’s only involvement with this Contest is as prize supplier and MLSE has no responsibility or liability with respect to the administration of the Contest or the awarding of the prize and all such responsibility and liability rests with Contest Sponsor.
